Two photographs depicting a section of wall in the exercise yard of a prison in Belgium and a noticeboard in the law department of Oxford University. The images echo and reverse each other aesthetically, not least in their relation to the night sky and therefore to ideas of the sublime. But the images also have a dialectical tension, suggesting questions around the complex relations between both.
